Librarys: Scarce Enough, But Losing Money?

Depending on where you live, you should have a public library nearby, but some, like the people in Walkerville, have to drive to south Windsor to go. Investing money in libraries, public or private, would be a good move on the city's side, but the city of Windsor is thinking of cutting the amount of money the libraries receive. Public libraries are practically the only place children can go to read in a friendly environment besides schools. Libraries are hard enough to get to now, but what happens when they lose money? Some might have to close, others might have to decrease the amount of books they carry. Children and adults alike will lose the valuable resources available in the library, and children of the future will not know a library at all. To me, that sounds just plain horrible. If you have any thoughts on this, please post.
